Take a break and a short stroll through the Wallflowers Press garden of printed floral art. The central focus of our creative endeavors here is our contemporary large-scale, silkscreened floral prints.
For 2007 we are introducing Orchids and Yellow Roses, the first two in our series of floral prints. Each image is a carefully created original high-gloss silkscreen print ranging from 8 to 14 saturated colors, printed edge to edge, and larger than life at 25” x 38”.

There are a few things that we want to call to your attention regarding the physical appearance of our silkscreened flower prints.
First, our images are produced with modern technology in the ancient, traditional art of silkscreen printing. Similar to a dimensional topographical map, each image has layers of color you can actually see and feel. These physically tangible layers are an authentic hallmark of the silkscreen process in each print.
Each high-gloss silkscreen print is produced in multiple colors edge-to-edge, without white borders. Being borderless creates the magical effect of a window to a huge, natural outside space.
At 25” x 38”, these images have a presence. In today’s houses having the typical greatroom concept and larger open spaces, you can build a room around one or more of these images to make a dramatic and impressive focal point.
Longevity matters. Beginning with a white basecoat, our flower images are printed with up to fourteen ultraviolet-resistant inks and finished off with a protective clear gloss topcoat.
Produced in a graphic arts version of a high tech clean room, these floral prints add drama to any private home, office or public space. A heavy substrate, lightfast inks and a high-gloss topcoat are hallmarks of their enduring quality.
Periodically Wallflowers Press plans to present new silkscreen floral prints, so start building a collection for yourself or for that special someone. Thank you for your time and interest. We hope you’ll consider sending us an email note with your thoughts and comments about what you’ve seen.
