We wanted to experiment with a local sign shop that had a laser cutter. The image was drawn in Illustrator and cut out of 1/4" sheet acrylic.

We would take the piece apart and ink the background separately, along with YES, and 2005. Then we would put the jigsaw puzzle back together and print it. It took about 10 minutes per print to ink.
